Harry Hamlin is an American actor of stage, television, and film. Born in Pasadena, California in 1951, he graduated from Yale University in 1974 with degrees in Drama and Psychology and later earned a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from The American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco.

Though awarded an ITT-Fulbright scholarship in acting in 1977, he opted instead to make his feature film debut in Stanley Donen’s comedy spoof Movie Movie opposite George C. Scott, earning his first Golden Globe nomination. Best known for his roles as Perseus in Clash of the Titans alongside Laurence Olivier and in the Emmy-winning TV series L.A. Law, Harry’s acting career spans decades.

But Harry’s talents extend beyond the screen. In recent years, he has become known for another passion: cooking. His signature Rosemary Red Wine Sauce, which started as a family favorite, quickly gained attention after being featured on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. What began as a simple tradition of Sunday pasta nights has now evolved into Harry’s Famous, bringing his beloved sauce from his kitchen to yours. Loved for its rich, homemade flavor, this sauce is the culmination of years of perfecting a recipe that blends his love for cooking with quality ingredients.

Harry comes from a line of innovators. He is the son of Chauncey Jerome Hamlin Jr., who helped design the Saturn V rocket at Rocketdyne and North American Aviation, and the grandson of Chauncey Jerome Hamlin, who founded the Buffalo Museum of Science and was president of the American Association of Museums.
